Benson Free Church
The chapel is a non-conformist chapel, independent of all denominational ties. It is affiliated to the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches who hold the Trust Deeds of the Chapel.
We meet together each Sunday for the worship of God and for preaching designed to explain and apply the teaching of the Bible. This morning service is at 10:45. There is also an evening service at 18:00 on the first Sunday only of each month.
We also meet on a weeknight at 19:30 for Prayer, Fellowship and discussion of Biblical and Personal Spiritual subjects. The particular evening is decided after the preceeding Sunday morning service.
The services and meeting are open and anyone is welcome to attend.
Membership, however, is for those alone who can show a creditable personal experience of Christian conversion through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; an understanding of essential basic Christian truth; and whose life conforms to this experience and understanding. Only such may attend and vote at Church business meetings.
